Request Care

The Samaritan went to him and bandaged his wounds, tending them with oil and wine.
Then he placed the wounded man on his own donkey, took him to an inn, and took care of him.

Luke 10

At West Union Lutheran we live out God's calling to our community by Gathering, Growing, being Grounded, and Giving... in Jesus' name.

Your situation in life in which you need care may need someone to gather with. You might need to receive. Perhaps you don't feel grounded any longer.

Here are a few ways that West Union Lutheran can support you or your loved one.

Pastoral Care

In Pastor Adam's 10+ years of ministry he has met with many families who needed pastoral care. In pastoral care you'll receive space and time to say what you need in a confidential setting. Prayer and scripture are offered to help discern God's Word for you.

Pastor Adam is not a trained or licensed counselor, but is willing to be a part of your circle of support.

You can contact him via his work cell phone number at 952-222-8236 or send him a message by clicking here.

Mental Health

Sometimes you need a pastor, sometimes you need a counselor. Sometimes you need both. We recognize the challenges we face are sometimes best addressed through professional counseling, but we highly value the growth that can come from working with a pastor or small group to address the spiritual dimensions of our struggles. We are committed to helping you identify the right tools so you can begin to heal and grow into the person God created you to be.

Throughout Carver County there are many services available and the county has made it easy to navigate your needs with the resources available.

Love INC Carver County

works hard at nurturing relationships with churches, school districts, government agencies and other service organizations to identify unmet needs that emerge in the community. We help the 33 local churches in our network build ministries to respond – to fill these gaps in local services so that neighbors get the help they need.

They also serve with our community agencies and charities by accepting referrals from them of people who need help. When these organizations cannot provide assistance inside the scope of their resources, mandates and protocols neighbors in need get referred to Love INC’s network of churches. As well, when Love INC network churches cannot meet a person’s needs, we will refer them to other service agencies.

Love INC behaves as a “clearinghouse” through the Client Help Line.
